Residential Academies

Our Cal South PRO+ ODP Residential Academies offer an intense and focused week of training for players determined to improve their game and learn what it takes to be the best. Our highly qualified staff conduct a training curriculum modeled after the US Youth National Teams, emphasizing technical training in individual and small group concepts as well as team play. Training consists of competitive, high-energy sessions that put players under pressure to make good decisions, including balanced solo and cooperative activities.

Starting in 2017, Cal South added a new 4-Day Elite Player Development Camp open for Boys and Girls born in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. The camp curriculum is built around the US Soccer Player Development Initiatives (PDI) and will focus on functional training for specific positions within the game - outside backs will learn more about their roles and responsibilities, as will midfielders and forwards within the new play numbers of 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. Our goal is to help players improve their on-field technical skills, and better understand the roles they play in the game.
